This year the weather on top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tram looks good. Click on the above link to get more info. We will plan on making a trip up there for the day to go exploring in the snow. Prices for the roundtrip tram is:

Hiking on Snow
When exploring on snow, you will need some basic equipment to help you stay afloat. If you attempt to walk on soft snow, you may find youself knee or even waist deep in snow. The basic floatation equipment on snow is a pair of snowshoes or cross-country skis [xcskis] and possibly poles to keep your balance. These work by spreading your weight over a larger surface area on the ground. Thus, the amount of sinking will be mininized.

Bookfold layout in Microsoft Word will allow Microsoft Word to fully automate the layout process of your document. As you type, it will layout your document into a booklet. You don't have to wonder how it will come out. The only extra requirement is you will need a printer with duplexing capabilty so the pages can be printed doublesided. To switch your layout to a bookfold, follow these steps. Inside Word, Go to File>Page setup ....>Multiple Pages: [dropdown] Select "Book fold"

Communication is a way we use to send messages. There are many ways to communicate: Morse Code, Semaphore Code, Cypher Codes, 2-way radio, are some of the methods we will study in this article. We define the Sender as the one who is transmitting a message; and the Receiver as the one who is listening for the message. |
