Divide the players equally into teams. Each team member is given a number or letter.  Flag is placed at the center. Teams are position so that they are equally spaced from the flags

When the number(s) or letter(s) are called, the person with the number or letter on each team comes up to the flag and attempt to take it home to their line. Person who first touch the flag owns the flag and must commit to taking it back to their line.  They cannot leave the flag, and no one else can touch the flag.

Rules for point deduction:

• Person who comes up to the flag when their number or letter are NOT called gets a deduction of 1 point for their team for that round and the round is reset.

Rules for scoring points:

• If (s)he makes it back to the line with the flag, a point is earned for his/her team.
• If the (s)he is tagged by the other team before reaching the line, then the tagging team will get a point instead.

Extra rules for variations.

• Players can only tag same number or letter.
• Players can tag any player on the field.
• Player can drop the flag before getting tag to put the Flag into "DEAD" mode. Any other player can pick the flag up to take it back without being tagged for points on their team.
